INTRODUCTION
Founded in 1902, the Graphische Anstalt J. E. Wolfensberger
AG is managed today
by the fourth Wolfensberger generation, Benni and Thomi.
The company offers a wide range of options, from high
quality printing with the latest offset printing
technology to the craft of lithographic printing for
limited editions of graphic art.
Pioneering accomplishment, superior workmanship and a
firm commitment to art are the pillars of this family
company with a long and respected tradition.

HISTORY
1901 - Johann Edwin Wolfensberger (1873
1944), a lithographer, takes over the print shop in
Zurich, which soon becomes a meeting point of artists
throughout the region.
1909 - Construction of the new print shop "outside
town" on Bederstrasse. Moving into this new building
ushers in the era of the new F4 format (world format) for
billboards in Switzerland, artistic tourism billboards,
art reproductions and exhibitions of contemporary artists
in the same building.
1956 - Begin offset printing, soon becoming a specialist
for color printing and gold bronzing.
1985 - Acquisition of the building at Birmensdorf-Zurich
with the goal of moving to a new location; production at
two locations.
2005 - Reconstruction at Birmensdorf and intensified
transfer to this location.
2006 - Complete transfer of offset printing to
Birmensdorf.
