Born in Kenya in 1926

Educated at Christ's Hospital
St. Andrews University
The R.A.D.A.

Married Evangeline Banks in 1953.

A professional actor since 1949. Worked in all forms of entertainment:
stage, TV, film and radio.

Ordained non-stipendiary Anglican priest in 1985.

Published one volume of autobiography, "Don't Walk in the Long Grass",
in 1992.

Now living in reirement in my house in Buckinghamshire.

Sir John Tenniel was my mother's uncle.
